Angel Cruzado moved to Seattle to work at Microsoft and to pursue a romantic relationship in 2006. When things didn't work out, he found himself single in 2008. As a single and busy professional, he explored all his dating service options. He took time out of his workday and evenings to compose multiple online matchmaking profiles, and even placed ads on Craigslist with no lasting results.

 

When the cyber world failed him, he tried local franchises for dates and events. Exorbitant prices and uncomfortable high-pressure sales tactics sent him out the door. The whole experience left him feeling even more lonely and isolated than when he started.

 

If you are a busy or single professional, your experience should never be like his. To ensure that doesn't happen to you, he created a company for Seattle Guys And Girls Next Door.

 

Guys And Girls Next Door is a matchmaking service that combines face-to-face events, coaching and feedback. About  Angel

 

Angel Cruzado

 

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Angel moved to Seattle to work in Human Resources with Microsoft. Angel has Human Resource experience working with Medtronic, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In these companies he has interviewed, coached, and provided coaching and feedback to candidates, employees, managers, and executives. Angel has hands on experience in interpersonal relations, diversity and inclusion, recruiting, employee, management, and organization development. Angel will be using his experience in Human Resources to help Guys And Girls Next Door (GND) members.


Angel has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University. Some fun facts about Angel: he completed the Seattle Marathon in 2008 after raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training; he has traveled to over 12 countries, lived in Seville, Spain, loves meeting new people, and can relate to people who relocated to Seattle, WA or have lived in Chicago, IL, Madison, WI, Santa Monica, CA, Boston, MA, New York, NY and Palo Alto, CA.
