What is Matchmaking?

Matchmaking is the art and science of introducing singles to compatible men or women by considering their preferences. Matchmaking criteria may include, but is not limited to, education, career, personality type, appearance, location and family.

At Guys And Girls Next Door (GND) we are committed to helping busy singles or professionals cut down on the time and stress involved in finding their potential partner.

Not planning is planning to fail.  If you aren't getting the results you want, it's time to date differently.  If you keep repeating the same patterns, and expect different results, contact us. We will help you step outside your comfort zone. You will first take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessment. We will then interpret your personality assessment results with you;  help you understand the strengths and challenges of your persoanlity type.  Once we have helped you understand your gifts and traits of your personality type, we will go over what you want in a potential partner. It’s that simple.

We are NOT an internet dating company. Privacy and discretion are important to us. We will not discuss nor disclose with anyone your information without your consent and agreement up front.

We have a psychology and coaching and development matchmaking-based approach. We match you on dates with clients that have similar interests, personality types or membership profiles.

To support your success, we provide all members with a personality assessment. We feel that there are two basic areas that seem to be critical in all relationships: Expectations and Communication. What do we expect from ourselves and the other person involved in the relationship? How do we communicate these expectations, and our feelings and opinions to the person in the relationship? How does our personality type affect our expectations and methods of communication? How does our personality type affect whom we are romantically attracted to?
